Micah and Zachary received a tremendous amount of blood during their hospitalizations (213 units!). This is an incredible amount of blood, made possible by generous blood donors like you and everyone in our community. We are inspired to give back to other families in need.
Please join us for the Micah Smiles Blood Drive on June 3rd from 1-7pm at Cobblestone Farm. We are teaming up with the Cobblestone Farmer’s Market and Zingerman’s Deli to provide you with an awesome blood donation experience. There will be activities for kids, live music, and fresh, local food.

Cobblestone Farm holds a special place in our hearts, as it is where we held Micah’s Life Celebration just one month after losing our precious son. We wanted to celebrate Micah’s life in a place that beamed with love, life, hope, joy and beauty. We wanted a place that was magical for children. We wanted a place that we could revisit, to help us feel closer to sweet Micah’s smiles. Cobblestone Farm was it for us. We are so grateful that Cobblestone Farm is so generously donating their space for our Micah Smiles Blood Drive. It will be a special day for us, and an uplifting, joyful experience for everyone who comes out to give life to other families in need.
It is truly an honor and privilege to be eligible and healthy enough to donate blood. Check this out to learn if you’re eligible to become a blood donor.
If you’re eligible to donate, what’s your excuse for not donating?
Scared of needles?
Afraid it will hurt?
Think others are donating so you don’t have to?
If you’re eligible, families out there need you to step up and donate blood – it saves lives.
If you’re not eligible to donate blood, please consider encouraging your family, friends and colleagues to come out and donate blood – even if you’re not eligible to donate blood you should still come out because the Micah Smiles Blood Drive is going to be FUN!
We still have 20 donor slots to fill so please join us and encourage others to come out, too!
Thank you for helping us celebrate and give back in honor of sweet Micah.
